Money, payment and activation questions
Everything here is about buying: what it costs, how the charge behaves, and what happens after it clears. Answers are short on purpose.
Payment behavior
One charge, taken at checkout, covering the term in full. Prices are set in USD and the payment provider settles in EGP, so your bank converts at its own rate and may add a foreign transaction fee, which is why the figure on the statement rarely matches the dollar price to the cent. No card details are stored for a future charge, because there is no future charge.
After payment
The activation panel builds the line automatically and the credentials are emailed to the order address. What those credentials are, and which players and boxes accept them, is covered on the devices page.
Questions
Why is the price per device rather than per person?
Because a plan is provisioned as a line, and a line carries one stream at a time. Two screens watching at once means two lines at the listed price.
Is the listed price per month or for the whole term?
For the whole term. $35.00 is the total cost of 6 Months, not $35.00 every month.
My statement shows a different currency. Is that right?
Yes. The dollar figure is the price; the EGP settlement is how the provider processes it. Your bank applies its own rate on top, which is why the two numbers differ.
The payment failed. Was a line created?
No. Activation only fires on a cleared payment, so a failed attempt leaves nothing behind. Try again or contact support with the time of the attempt.
Do I get a receipt?
The payment provider issues the transaction receipt to the email on the order. Support can confirm the order details against that address as well.
Is there a setup or activation fee?
No. $10.99 is the entire cost of one month on one device. Nothing is added at the end of checkout.
Can I split a 24 month plan into installments?
No. The term is paid in one transaction. $90.00 is charged once and covers twenty-four months on one device.
Does the price go up mid-term?
No. What you pay at checkout covers the term you bought. Future price changes apply to future purchases, not to a term already paid for.
Can someone else pay for my line?
Yes, but the credentials go to the email address entered on the order, so put the right address in at checkout.
